Imbé Islands Kayaking Tour

Tour Itinerary: Tramandaí River Islands Canoeing Experience

At the designated time, we'll meet at Marina Barranco, where our instructor will provide equipment and outline essential safety rules.

We will begin this moderate-difficulty tour, covering 8 kilometers (5 miles) through the Imbé islands in the Tramandaí River. Participants will navigate the river's canals and estuary while enjoying views of Imbé, Tramandaí, and Osório.

During the kayak excursion, we will traverse both artificial and natural channels, observe native bird species, and encounter areas with sandy bottoms and others with significant depth. A pause at the point where the river meets the sea will offer a view of the Morro de Borússia, with the option for a refreshing dip.

After swimming, we will explore narrow channels accessible only by kayaks, reaching the Triangle of Waters, where routes to Imbé, Tramandaí, and Osório converge. We will then head to Ilha Grande for a rest.

On the final stretch, we will return to the main riverbed, passing the back of Imbé to see the contrast between its mansions and untamed nature.

This engaging three-hour kayak tour will conclude by returning to the starting point, marking the end of the adventure.
