The Damajagua Waterfalls Buggy Tour begins at 8 am at the Damajagua River Visitor Centre. Participants will drive buggies to explore the renowned Damajagua Waterfalls and the southern region of Puerto Plata. A professional instructor will provide guidance for those inexperienced in buggy driving.

The tour covers approximately 6 to 9 miles (10 to 15 kilometers) through palm groves, farmland, and villages, navigating the Dominican jungle trails. Frequent stops will be made for refreshments, including fresh coconut drinks, cocktails, or beer, along with opportunities to swim in river beaches.

Visitors will encounter 27 waterfalls at the Damajagua Waterfalls, with multiple stops at panoramic viewpoints to appreciate the scenery. Following a buffet lunch at a local restaurant, the tour proceeds to explore communities in Puerto Plata, beginning with a fruit-picking stop in Bellaco by the Bajabonico River. The journey continues through Bajabonico Arriba, Palmar Grande, and Los Felix, showcasing local lifestyle.

The tour concludes with a final swim in the Bajabonico River before returning to the starting point, finishing at 2 pm.
