Ivalo Forest Fat Bike Tour

On this fat bike tour in Ivalo, we'll cycle around snowy towns and trails as we enter untouched nature in the Finnish Lapland.

Description

At the time indicated, we'll meet at Ivalontie 12, from where we'll enter the untouched lands of Lapland on fat bikes, designed for snowy terrain. You'll see how easy it is to ride them!

Wending our way through snowy trails, we'll explore some of Ivalo's towns and forests. During one of our stops, we will take a break for a snack and hot drink to keep warm.

We'll also pass by the Ivalo River and its streams, known as vuopaja. Additionally, we'll learn about the development and survival of the towns surrounding the river during flooding and extreme weather conditions.

After this fat bike ride in Ivalo, we'll return to the starting point, 3 hours after the start of the activity.
