Churup Lagoon Hiking Tour

At 7 am, we will pick you up at your hotel in Huaraz and travel in a comfortable vehicle through typical Andean villages to Pitec, situated at 3,850 meters above sea level.

Upon arrival, we will enjoy views of significant peaks in Huascaran National Park, including Vallunaraju, Ocshapalca, Ranrapalca, Rimarima, San Juan, and Churup, our next destination.

We will commence the trekking route from Pitec. The hike includes steep sections where we will need to use ropes for assistance during the ascent. The guide will provide support throughout this 2-hour hike.

We will finally reach the Churup Lagoon, located at the base of the related snow-capped mountain. You will have free time to enjoy the views and rest before we begin the walk back to Pitec, where a minibus will await to return us to Huaraz.

The excursion concludes with a drop-off at your hotel around 4 pm.
