Lake 69 Trip

Lake 69 Trip

Pick-up will be between 5 and 5:30 am from your hotel in Huaraz. We will then travel by bus to Huascaran National Park, approximately an hour and a half away.

Upon arrival, we will commence a hike. During the ascent, you will observe the local flora and fauna endemic to the region, with potential sightings of a puna partridge or Andean condor.

After hiking for 3 hours, we will reach Lagoon 69. Here, you will have an hour of free time to explore and enjoy lunch (not included). The lake features intense turquoise waters. Caution is advised for those considering swimming due to the cold water temperature.

We will then return to the park entrance, where the bus will be ready to take us back to the hotels.

Estimated arrival time in Huaraz is 8 pm.
