Innsbruck City Tower Entrance
If you're in Innsbruck and looking for panoramic views, the City Tower is a must-visit. With this ticket, you can climb 133 steps to appreciate the surroundings of the Austrian town at a height of 31 meters. This watchtower, dating back to 1450, was originally used for warning of dangers during the Middle Ages. The dome rises over 50 meters, symbolizing the Tyrolean capital's skyline. Note that the lower floors were once used as a prison.
From the top, you can see the Bergisel and Patscherkofel mountains, the Nordkette mountain range, and the Eno River. Additionally, you’ll have views of significant landmarks like the Helbling House, the medieval Katzunghaus, and the renowned Golden Roof, where the emperor observed festivals.
