Nordkette Cable Car Ticket

With the Nordkette cable car ticket, you will first reach the Hungerburg station at 304 metres, where you can view the Innsbruck skyline. Then, you will ascend to Seegrube, nearly 2,000 metres above sea level, where, if visibility is clear, you will see the steep gorges and the Austrian-Italian border. Multiple trails for exploring endemic vegetation are available in this area. The funicular will take you to Hafelekar, the highest point, offering views of the Karwendel mountain range.

The Nordkette funicular operates as follows:

Innsbruck station: Daily 8:15 am to 7 pm. Departures every 15 minutes.Hungerburg station: Monday to Friday 7:15 am to 7:15 pm; Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays 8 am to 6:30 pm. Departures every 15 minutes.Seegrube station: Daily 8:30 am to 6:30 pm. Departures every 15 minutes.Hafelekar station: Daily 9 am to 6 pm. Departures every 15 minutes.

The operating times from October to May are as follows:
