Nordkette Cable Car Ticket

At the top of the Nordkette mountain range, you can enjoy a view that will enhance your experience of the Tyrol region. With this ticket, you can stop at the first station at an altitude of 304 metres: Hungerburg. From here, the Innsbruck skyline is visible without obstruction.

You will then ascend to Seegrube, nearly 2,000 metres above sea level, where you may see the steep gorges and the Austrian-Italian border if visibility is good. Several trails in this area provide opportunities to explore endemic vegetation.

The funicular railway will take you up to Hafelekar, the highest point of the mountain range, offering views of the Karwendel mountain range.

The opening times of the Nordkette funicular stations are as follows:

Innsbruck station: Daily from 8:15 am to 7 pm. Departures every 15 minutes.Hungerburg station: Monday to Friday from 7:15 am to 7:15 pm; weekends and public holidays from 8 am to 6:30 pm. Departures every 15 minutes.Seegrube station: Daily from 8:30 am to 6:30 pm. Departures every 15 minutes.Hafelekar station: Daily from 9 am to 6 pm. Departures every 15 minutes.

The opening times for October to May are:

Innsbruck station: Daily from 8:15 am to 7 pm. Departures every 15 minutes.Hungerburg station: Monday to Friday from 7:15 am to 7:15 pm; weekends and public holidays from 8 am to 7:15 pm.
