3-Day Highlands & Isle of Skye Tour

On this 3-day tour of the Highlands and the Isle of Skye, participants will explore the landscapes of northern Scotland and ride on the Harry Potter train.

3-Day Highlands & Isle of Skye Tour

Day 1: Inverness - Loch Ness - Harry Potter Train - Isle of Skye

Participants will gather at 15 Union Street in Inverness. The first stop is Loch Ness, where sightings of Nessie are possible. Next, guests will visit Urquhart Castle for views of the loch. The journey continues to the Commando Monument and Ben Nevis.

Afterward, the group will reach Fort William to board the Jacobite train, providing views of the Highland landscapes. Upon arrival in Mallaig, there will be free time for lunch before boarding a ferry to Isle of Skye, with the alternative of bus travel from 14 to 27 April. Participants will then go to Portree for overnight accommodation.

Day 2: Isle of Skye

After breakfast, the tour will visit the Fairy Pools, followed by Dunvegan for lunch. The group will explore Quiraing, Kilt Rock waterfall, and Old Man of Storr, famous photo spots.

The afternoon will be free for exploration in Portree, the largest town on the Isle of Skye.

Day 3: Portree - Eilean Donan Castle - Culloden - Inverness

After breakfast, participants will visit Eilean Donan Castle before traveling to Beauly for lunch. The itinerary continues with a visit to a whisky distillery, the Battle of Culloden site, and the Clava Cairns. The tour concludes with a return to Inverness in the early afternoon.

Accommodation

The tour includes 2 nights in a double room with breakfast in a B&B style hotel in Portree.
