On this 3-day tour of the Highlands and the Isle of Skye, we will explore the landscapes of northern Scotland and experience the Harry Potter train.

3-Day Highlands & Isle of Skye Tour

Day 1: Inverness - Loch Ness - Harry Potter Train - Isle of Skye

Meet at 15 Union Street in Inverness. Our first destination is Loch Ness, followed by a visit to Urquhart Castle. We will then stop at the Commando Monument before heading to Fort William, the departure point of the Hogwarts Express. Here, we will board the Jacobite train for scenic views. After arriving in Mallaig, enjoy lunch before we board a ferry to the Isle of Skye. Note: from April 14 to 27, travel will be by bus instead of ferry.

Day 2: Isle of Skye

After breakfast, we will visit the Fairy Pools and have time for lunch in Dunvegan. We will then explore Quiraing and Kilt Rock waterfall, followed by the Old Man of Storr. The afternoon will be free to explore Portree.

Day 3: Portree - Eilean Donan Castle - Culloden - Inverness

After breakfast, we will visit Eilean Donan Castle and have lunch in Beauly. Next, we will tour a whisky distillery and the grounds of the Battle of Culloden. Finally, we will see the Clava Cairns before returning to Inverness in the early afternoon.

Accommodation

The tour includes 2 nights in a double room with breakfast at a B&B style hotel in Portree.
