On this 3-day tour of the Highlands and the Isle of Skye, we'll discover the wild landscapes of northern Scotland and take a ride on the Harry Potter train.

3-Day Highlands & Isle of Skye Tour

Day 1: Inverness - Loch Ness - Harry Potter Train - Isle of Skye

On the first day, we'll meet at 15 Union Street in Inverness. Our first destination is Loch Ness, where we will see Urquhart Castle and the Commando Monument. Next, we’ll travel to Fort William and board the Jacobite train, also known as the Hogwarts Express, to Mallaig. After lunch in Mallaig, we’ll take a ferry to the Isle of Skye. Note: from 14 to 27 April, the trip will be by bus instead of ferry.

Day 2: Isle of Skye

After breakfast in Portree, we’ll visit the Fairy Pools, then have free time in the village of Dunvegan for lunch. Later, we will explore Quiraing, the Kilt Rock waterfall, and the Old Man of Storr. The afternoon is free to explore Portree, the largest town on the Isle.

Day 3: Portree - Eilean Donan Castle - Culloden - Inverness

After breakfast, we’ll visit Eilean Donan Castle and have lunch in Beauly. We will also visit a whisky distillery, the Battle of Culloden site, and Clava Cairns before returning to Inverness in the early afternoon.

Accommodation

The tour includes 2 nights in a double room with breakfast at a B&B style hotel in Portree.
