Applecross and the Highlands Trip

Meet in the morning at Railway Terrace in Inverness for the journey to the Applecross peninsula.

After approximately one hour and a half, we will reach our first stop, the village of Lochcarron, where you can photograph the Loch Carron estuary.

We will then continue towards the Applecross peninsula, passing the village of Achnitraid by Loch Kishorn, and cross the Bealach na Ba mountain pass, known for its dramatic landscapes. We will stop at the summit to enjoy views of the highlands.

Upon descending to Applecross, you will have the chance to explore the bay and observe the local wildlife, including otters and deer.

After visiting key sites in Applecross, we will return to Inverness, passing by Loch Torridon and Beinn Eighe, the first National Nature Reserve in Great Britain. A brief stop will be made at the fishing village of Shieldaig for refreshments. Our final stop will be Kinlochewe before heading back to Inverness.
