Applecross and the Highlands Trip
We will meet in the morning at Railway Terrace in Inverness, where we will start our journey to the Applecross peninsula.
After approximately one hour and a half, we will arrive at our first stop, the village of Lochcarron, where you can take photos of the Loch Carron estuary.
We will continue our trip towards the Applecross peninsula, passing the remote village of Achnitraid on Loch Kishorn's shores, and crossing the Bealach na Ba mountain pass. At the summit, we will stop to capture the views of the highlands.
We will then descend to the village of Applecross, where you can explore the bay and the local wildlife, including otters and deer.
After exploring Applecross, we will start our return trip to Inverness, passing locations such as Loch Torridon and Beinn Eighe, the first National Nature Reserve in Great Britain, established in 1951.
On our way back to Inverness, we will make a brief stop at the fishing village of Shieldaig for refreshments. Our final stop is Kinlochewe before returning to Inverness.
