Applecross and the Highlands Trip

We will meet in the morning at Railway Terrace in Inverness to start our journey to the Applecross peninsula.

After approximately one and a half hours, we will arrive at our first stop, the village of Lochcarron, where you will have the opportunity to take photos of the Loch Carron estuary.

Next, we will continue towards the Applecross peninsula, passing the remote village of Achnitraid on the shores of Loch Kishorn and crossing the Bealach na Ba mountain pass. At the summit, we will stop for views of the highlands.

We will then descend to the village of Applecross, where you can explore the bay and observe the wildlife, including otters and deer.

After visiting Applecross, we will return to Inverness, passing locations such as Loch Torridon and Beinn Eighe, the first National Nature Reserve in Great Britain, established in 1951.

On our return, we will make a brief stop at the fishing village of Shieldaig for refreshments if necessary, and our final stop will be Kinlochewe before returning to Inverness.
