Applecross and the Highlands Trip
We will meet in the morning at Railway Terrace in Inverness, where we will start our journey to the Applecross peninsula.
After a journey of around one hour and a half, we will arrive at our first stop, the village of Lochcarron, where you will have the opportunity to take photos of the Loch Carron estuary.
We will continue our trip towards the Applecross peninsula, passing the remote village of Achnitraid on the shores of Loch Kishorn, and crossing the Bealach na Ba mountain pass, making a stop at the summit for views of the highlands.
We will then descend to the village of Applecross, where you will discover the bay and the wildlife, including otters and deer.
After exploring Applecross, we will return to Inverness, passing locations such as Loch Torridon and Beinn Eighe, the first National Nature Reserve in Great Britain founded in 1951.
On the way back, we will make a brief stop at the fishing village of Shieldaig and our final stop will be Kinlochewe before returning to Inverness.
