Inverness Walking Tour

We'll meet at the appointed time on the High Street and start our guided tour of Inverness, the capital of the Scottish Highlands.

Inverness is known for its quality of life. The tour will explore the main streets of Inverness, focusing on its history. We’ll cover its origins as a royal city, the Jacobite uprisings, and modern life.

We will stop at Inverness Castle, a red sandstone fortress built in 1836.

The tour continues to St. Andrew's Cathedral, the main religious building, where we will view its façade, reminiscent of Notre Dame de Paris.

We will walk along the banks of the Loch Ness River and discuss the legend of the Loch Ness Monster.

Finally, we will visit the Old High Church, the oldest church in the town, concluding our tour after 1 hour 30 minutes of sightseeing.
