Inverness Walking Tour
Meet at the designated time on the High Street to begin the guided tour of Inverness, the capital of the Scottish Highlands.
Inverness is recognized for its quality of life. The tour explores the city's history, from its origins as a royal city, through the Jacobite uprisings and castle sieges, to contemporary life. Key attractions include Inverness Castle, a red sandstone fortress built in 1836.
Next, the tour proceeds to St. Andrew's Cathedral, the main religious building in the city with a façade reminiscent of Notre Dame de Paris.
Participants will also learn about the legend of the Loch Ness Monster while walking along the banks of the Loch Ness River.
The tour concludes at the Old High Church, the oldest church in the town, after 1 hour and 30 minutes of sightseeing.
