On this excursion to the Isle of Skye from Inverness we'll explore the landscapes of the north of Scotland, including Eilean Donan castle and Kilt Rock.

Isle of Skye Tour

At the indicated time, we'll meet at 15 Union Street in Inverness before embarking on an excursion to the Isle of Skye.

Our first stop will be at Eilean Donan Castle, known for its towers and walls. Visitors can choose to explore the interior or enjoy the surrounding views of Loch Duich.

We'll then continue our journey to the Isle of Skye, crossing over Skye Bridge and through the town of Portree, the capital of the island. You'll have one hour of free time to buy lunch in a traditional restaurant while enjoying the port's atmosphere.

After lunch, we'll head to the iconic Old Man of Storr. We will learn about the legend of this rock formation, known throughout Scotland.

Continuing our tour, we'll visit Kilt Rock, a viewpoint on the cliffs offering views of the Scottish seas. Our next stop will be the Quiraing, a notable land formation in the northern part of the Isle of Skye.

After exploring Skye's natural wonders, we'll return to Inverness, arriving after 12 hours of excursion.
