On this excursion to the Isle of Skye from Inverness we'll explore the wild landscapes of northern Scotland, including Eilean Donan Castle and Kilt Rock.
Isle of Skye Tour
We'll meet at 15 Union Street in Inverness before starting our excursion to the Isle of Skye.
Our first stop will be Eilean Donan Castle, known for its high towers and walls. Once there, you can explore the inside of the fortress or enjoy the views of Loch Duich.
We'll then continue to the Isle of Skye, crossing Skye Bridge and passing through Portree, the island's capital. Here, you have an hour of free time to buy lunch in one of the traditional restaurants while observing the port.
After lunch, we'll head to the Old Man of Storr to learn about the legend of this rock formation, one of the most famous sites in Scotland.
Continuing our tour, we'll visit Kilt Rock, a viewpoint offering scenic views of the seas. Our next stop will be Quiraing, an impressive land formation in the northern part of the Isle of Skye.
After exploring the natural wonders of Skye, we'll return to Inverness, arriving after 12 hours of excursion.
