On this excursion to the Isle of Skye from Inverness, we will explore the landscapes of northern Scotland, including Eilean Donan castle and Kilt Rock.
Isle of Skye Tour
At the designated time, we will meet at 15 Union Street in Inverness before starting our trip to the Isle of Skye, visiting notable locations.
Our first stop will be at Eilean Donan Castle, known for its towers and walls. Visitors can choose to explore the fortress interior or enjoy the views of Loch Duich.
We will then continue to the Isle of Skye, crossing the Skye Bridge and passing through Portree, the island's capital. Here, you will have an hour of free time to purchase lunch at local restaurants while observing the port's activity.
Post lunch, we will visit the Old Man of Storr and learn about the legend linked to this famous rock formation.
Next, we will discover Kilt Rock, which offers a stunning viewpoint of the Scottish seas, and then stop at Quiraing, a notable land formation in northern Skye.
After experiencing the natural wonders of Skye, we will return to Inverness, concluding our 12-hour excursion.
