On this excursion to the Isle of Skye from Inverness, we’ll explore the wild landscapes of the north of Scotland, including Eilean Donan castle and Kilt Rock.
Isle of Skye Tour
We'll meet at 15 Union Street in Inverness before embarking on our trip to the Isle of Skye, where we will visit notable locations.
Our first stop will be at Eilean Donan Castle, a highly photographed site in Scotland. Once there, you can choose to explore the fortress interior or enjoy the views of Loch Duich.
Next, we will continue to the Isle of Skye, crossing the Skye Bridge and passing through Portree, the island's capital. You'll have an hour of free time here for lunch at traditional restaurants while observing the port's activity.
After lunch, we will head to the Old Man of Storr, learning about its legend, a famous rock formation in Scotland.
The tour will also include a visit to Kilt Rock, a viewpoint that offers stunning views of the Scottish seas, followed by a stop at Quiraing, an impressive land formation in the northern part of the Isle of Skye.
After exploring the natural wonders of Skye, we’ll return to< strong> Inverness, concluding our 12-hour excursion.
