On this tour through the Colombian department of Nariño, we'll depart from Ipiales to visit Pasto.
Pasto Tour
We'll depart at 2 pm from Santander Park in Ipiales towards Pasto, known for its cultural significance in the Andean region of Nariño.
Upon arrival, we will tour Pasto, focusing on its main Catholic churches including the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart and the churches of San Juan and La Merced. We will also visit the Plaza de Nariño, the center of the historic area.
Next, we will stop at the Carnival Museum to see a display of costumes from the local festivities. A visit to a varnish workshop will follow, where we will observe the techniques that are part of Colombia's Cultural Heritage.
After the workshop, we will enjoy traditional artisan ice cream from Pasto and a hot cup of Nariño coffee.
Finally, we will return to Ipiales, arriving at 10 pm.
