Want to explore two gems of northeast Brazil? With this tour to Recife and Olinda, we'll enjoy the many charms of two cities rich in history and heritage.

Recife & Olinda Excursion

After picking you up at your hotel in Porto de Galinhas between 7:30 and 8:30 am, we'll head north to Recife, with a minibus ride lasting about an hour and a half.

Our first stop will be at Boa Viagem beach, where you will have free time for a catamaran ride on the Capibaribe River, which has earned Recife the moniker of Brazilian Venice.

Next, we head to Praça Rio Branco, also known as Marco Zero, to discuss its historical significance as the city's foundational point.

We will then take a guided tour of the main attractions of Recife, including Rua dos Judeus, the exterior of the Kahal Zur Israel Synagogue, the Embassy of Giant Puppets, the House of Culture, and the Open-Air Museum ruins.

After this, we will depart for Olinda, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You can choose to stroll through the old town or walk up to the Alto da Sé for a panoramic view of the city and its main monuments, including the churches of Sé and Misericórdia.

We will conclude the tour and drop you back off at your hotel between 6:30 and 7:30 pm.

Pickup

This tour includes pickup from hotels in the following areas of Porto de Galinhas: Muro Alto, Praia do Cupe, Maracaípe and central Porto de Galinhas. If your accommodation is not located in these areas, we will contact you to arrange an alternative meeting point.
