Iquique Guided Tour

The capital of the Chilean region of Tarapacá enchants all who visit. On our guided tour of Iquique, you'll visit the city's most iconic spots and admire extraordinary views from Dragon Hill.

Iquique Guided Tour

Between 9 and 10 am, we will pick you up from your hotel in Iquique and drive to the southern part of the city. The tour includes a visit to the Bajo Molle area to learn about its history of whaling, followed by a stop at Dragon Hill, known for Iquique's famous sand dunes. After this, the route will continue to the beach on the Cavancha Peninsula.

We will then pass the Centenary Market, Santa Maria School, and other symbolic spots in Iquique's historic center. A stop at Prat Square will allow us to see the iconic Clock Tower, which has been operational since 1877.

Nearby, we will find the Riquelme fishermen's cove and Prat Pier. Optionally, guests can join a boat trip around Iquique Bay, where we'll also see the replica of the corvette Esmeralda, a military ship that sank during the Pacific War.

The tour will conclude with stops in the Marinero area and the Zofri shopping centre, where you can shop or return to your hotel by 3 pm.
