Isluga Volcano National Park Day Trip
At 6:30 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Iquique and set off northbound for the Isluga Volcano National Park.
Our first stop will be at Unita Hill to see the geoglyph of the Giant of Tarapacá. After discussing its significance, we'll head to the Chusmiza viewpoint to acclimatize to the altitude while admiring the fertile valley and mountains of the Andean foothills.
Next, we will visit the Puchildiza Geysers to observe hot water and steam shooting into the air. Following this, we will explore the villages of Colchane and Mauque around the Isluga Volcano National Park.
You will learn about the area's Ayamara culture from locals and take a break for lunch at a restaurant in the park, featuring three local dishes.
After lunch, we will continue exploring the scenery until we reach the village of Enquelga, where you can enjoy open-air hot springs.
Feeling refreshed, you'll be taken back to your hotel in Iquique, with drop-off scheduled for 9 pm.
