Isluga Volcano National Park Day Trip
At 6:30 am, we will pick you up from your hotel in Iquique and head north to the Isluga Volcano National Park.
Our first stop will be Unita Hill to view the geoglyph of the Giant of Tarapacá. After discussing its significance, we will proceed to the Chusmiza viewpoint, where you can acclimatize to the altitude while enjoying the views of the fertile valley and Andean foothills.
Next, we will visit the Puchildiza Geysers to observe the hot water and steam jets. Following this, we’ll explore Colchane, Mauque, and other villages within the park.
Learn about the Ayamara culture from locals before taking a break at a restaurant in the park for lunch, featuring three dishes of local cuisine.
After lunch, we will continue our exploration until we reach the village of Enquelga to enjoy their open-air hot springs.
Feeling refreshed, we will return you to your hotel in Iquique with an estimated drop-off time of 9 pm.
