Isluga Volcano National Park Day Trip
At 6:30 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Iquique and depart for the Isluga Volcano National Park.
Our first stop will be Unita Hill, where we will view the geoglyph of a colossal figure, known as the Giant of Tarapacá. After discussing its significance, we will proceed to the Chusmiza viewpoint, where you will acclimatize to the altitude while enjoying views of the fertile valley and Andean foothills.
Next, we will visit the Puchildiza Geysers to observe the hot water and steam. The trip will also include visits to Colchane, Mauque, and other nearby villages within the national park.
Local residents will provide insights into the Ayamara culture. A break for lunch will be taken at a park restaurant, featuring three dishes of local gastronomy.
After lunch, we will continue exploring the scenery until we reach the village of Enquelga, where you can enjoy the open-air hot springs. At the end of the day, you will return to your hotel in Iquique by 9 pm.
