Description

Day 1

We'll collect you at 9 am from your hotel in Iquitos or the airport and depart for the river port. The adventure begins with a 3-hour boat journey along the Amazon, including a visit to a nature reserve and an animal sanctuary. We'll continue to the Momon River for an overnight camp, with lunch and a jungle trek to meet the Boras tribe. After dinner, night hiking will follow to observe nocturnal birds.

Day 2

We'll start with a bird-watching tour at dawn, returning for breakfast before exploring the Nanay, Amazon, and Itaya rivers. Stops include a local community and a 70-meter sequoia tree. We'll return upstream for lunch and experience piranha fishing. You will be transferred back to your hotel or the airport around 5 pm.

3-Day Tour

The 3-day option follows the first two days as described. On the third day, we'll begin with bird-watching, then visit the community of Padrecocha for its butterfly farm. After lunch, we may kayak or visit the San Andres community before returning to Iquitos by 5 pm.

4-Day Tour + Excursion to Belen

This option maintains the first three days of the previous tour. On the fourth day, we'll travel to Belen after breakfast, exploring the canals before returning for lunch. A visit to the San Andres community follows before we reach Iquitos around 5 pm.

4-Day Tour + Iquitos Tour

This follows the prior itinerary until the fourth day, where we'll conduct a comprehensive sightseeing tour of Iquitos, visiting the Plaza de Armas, Casa de Hierro, and Amazon Museum. We will also visit Quistococha after lunch and return to Iquitos by 5 pm.

5-Day Tour

This tour includes everything from the 3-day option, with an excursion to Belen on the fourth day and the Iquitos tour on the final day.

Accommodation

You'll stay at the Amazon Camp Lodge, including buffet-style meals. Prices are based on double occupancy. Children under 5 can join for free in the same room as an adult.

Flights

Provide your flight reservation with airline name, flight number, and expected landing time by 9 am. For transfers to the airport on the last day, inform us of the airline, flight number, and departure time by 5 pm.
