4-Day Amazon River Cruise
Day 1
Pickup from your hotel takes you to Bellavista port for a boat trip to the jungle lodge. A stop will be made at the meeting point of the Amazon and Nanay rivers to observe local wildlife. In the afternoon, visit a town to learn about the AQL Timicurillo community's customs. Evening options include a night walk in the jungle.
Day 2
Visit Neyser Island for its snake sanctuary and see various animals. Then, head to San Juan de Huashalado farm and the “El Encanto de Rony” rescue centre to see anacondas and parrots. Enjoy aphrodisiac and medicinal drinks. After lunch, boat fishing in the Amazon River will take place, followed by dinner and tales from the Amazon.
Day 3
After breakfast, canoe down the Yanayacu River, rich in diverse wildlife. Lunch will be served outdoors. Admire the Amazonian sunset before returning to the lodge for dinner.
Day 4
Begin with a short night walk to witness a sunrise, followed by breakfast. Visit a local community to learn dances and handicrafts. Afternoon includes a visit to an indigenous community to explore traditional medicinal techniques. After lunch, return to Iquitos, taking around 2.5 hours, with drop-off at your hotel or a selected location.
Itinerary Changes
Due to drought, access to the lodge may require a 30-minute walk. Droughts typically last until November.
