4-Day Amazon River Cruise

Day 1

Pickup from your hotel to Bellavista port for transfer to the jungle lodge. Stop at the meeting point of the Amazon and Nanay rivers to observe local wildlife. Afternoon small boat trip to learn about the AQL Timicurillo town. Evening return to the lodge for dinner, with an optional night walk.

Day 2

Visit to Neyser Island to explore the snake sanctuary and view various animals. Proceed to San Juan de Huashalado farm and “El Encanto de Rony” rescue centre to see exotic species. Try various aphrodisiac and medicinal drinks. Afternoon fishing on the Amazon River with a sunset view, followed by dinner and tales of Amazonian mythology.

Day 3

After breakfast, canoe tour on the River Yanayacu to spot birds, monkeys, and dolphins. Open-air lunch at a farmer's house or onboard. Return with an Amazonian sunset, and dinner back at the lodge.

Day 4

Early morning night walk for sunrise followed by breakfast. Visit a local community for traditional dances and handicrafts. Afternoon visit to a local indigenous community to learn about medicinal techniques. After lunch, 2.5-hour return trip to Iquitos to drop off at your hotel or a central location.

Itinerary Changes

Due to current drought conditions, a 30-minute walk to the lodge may be necessary, typically until November.

This five-day tour includes four nights' full-board accommodation at the Amazon Queen Lodge.

Includes pickup from hotels in downtown Iquitos. For locations outside this area, a central meeting point will be provided after booking.
