4 Day Amazon River Cruise

Day 1

Pickup from your hotel will lead to Bellavista port, where a boat will take us to the jungle lodge. A stop will be made at the meeting point of the Amazon and Nanay rivers to observe local wildlife. In the afternoon, a visit to the town of the AQL Timicurillo will provide insights into its customs. Evening options include a night walk in the jungle.

Day 2

The day starts with a visit to Neyser Island and its snake sanctuary, then proceeds to San Juan de Huashalado farm to see animals rescued at El Encanto de Rony. Guests will sample aphrodisiac drinks and medicinal drinks. Following lunch, fishing on the Amazon River at sunset will conclude the day, returning to the lodge for dinner.

Day 3

After breakfast, a canoe tour down the Yanayacu River will showcase diverse wildlife. Lunch will either be onboard or at a farmer's house, followed by a return with a beautiful Amazonian sunset. Dinner will be served at the lodge.

Day 4

The final day includes an early jungle walk to witness a sunrise, followed by breakfast and community visits to learn traditional dances and handicrafts. An afternoon visit to a local indigenous community will focus on traditional medicinal techniques. After lunch, a 2.5-hour return journey to Iquitos will take place, concluding with drop-off at your hotel.

Itinerary Changes

Due to drought, access to the lodge will require a 30-minute walk. Drought conditions typically last until November.

This five-day tour includes four nights' full-board accommodation at the Amazon Queen Lodge.

Pickup

Pickup is included from downtown Iquitos hotels. Guests staying outside this area will be provided with a central meeting point after booking.
