4 Day Amazon River Cruise

Day 1

Pickup from your hotel and transfer to Bellavista port for a boat to the jungle lodge. A stop at the meeting point of the Amazon and Nanay rivers to observe local wildlife. In the afternoon, visit a town of the AQL Timicurillo to learn about customs. Evening dinner at the lodge with an optional night walk.

Day 2

Visit Neyser Island to see the snake sanctuary, and observe anteaters, sloths, monkeys, and turtles. Next, visit San Juan de Huashalado farm and the El Encanto de Rony rescue center to view various animals. Experience aphrodisiac and medicinal drinks. After lunch, go fishing in the Amazon River and enjoy the sunset before returning to the lodge for dinner and storytelling.

Day 3

After breakfast, embark on a canoe tour down the River Yanayacu to see diverse wildlife, including grey and pink dolphins. Enjoy an open-air lunch, admire an Amazonian sunset, and return to the lodge for dinner.

Day 4

Early morning jungle walk for sunrise, followed by breakfast. Visit a local community to learn traditional dances and handicrafts. Afternoon visit to an indigenous community for insights into traditional medicinal techniques. Return to Iquitos, a 2.5-hour journey, with drop-off at your hotel or a central location.

Itinerary Changes

Due to the current drought, access to the lodge will require a 30-minute walk. Droughts typically last until November.
