Amazon 2 Day Tour

Take yourself far from the modern world when you take this 2-day tour of the Amazon. You will discover animal species and spend the night in a comfortable lodge in the jungle.

Amazon 2 Day Tour

Day 1

We will depart from Iquitos at 9 am, heading to the banks of the Amazon, the largest river in the world. A boat trip will take us through the dense rainforest, allowing us to observe various wildlife and plants.

Upon arriving at the Nanay River, you will witness the waters changing color. If fortunate, we may see the pink dolphins of the region.

We will visit a lizard farm to learn about piaches, a fish that can reach up to 10 ft long.

Around 1:30 pm, we will reach our two-story lodge made from jungle materials, where we will have a meal and rest.

At 3 pm, we visit the native Yagua people, learning about their agricultural, fishing, and hunting lifestyles. Our guide will answer all questions.

Returning to the cabin complex at 5 pm for a break and dinner, we will later take a night walk to listen to the sounds of birds and insects. We will spend the night in the heart of the Amazon jungle.

Day 2

We will leave early to enjoy the sunrise around 5 am, witnessing color filter through the jungle. The morning will be spent observing exotic birds, including the scarlet macaw.

After breakfast, we will visit the serpentarium, home to various snakes, sloths, ocelots, turtles, and parrots, with an opportunity to taste drinks made from medicinal plants.

Returning to the lodge at 12:30 pm for rest before lunch, at 2:30 pm we will board a boat back to Iquitos, arriving around 4:30 pm.
