Take yourself far from the modern world when you take this amazing 2-day tour of the Amazon. You will discover animal species and spend the night in a comfortable lodge in the jungle.

Amazon 2 Day Tour

Day 1

We will depart from Iquitos at 9 am to the banks of the Amazon River. We will board a boat for a trip through the dense rainforest. Along the way, you will discover various wildlife and plants.

At Nanay River, you will witness waters changing color, and if fortunate, see pink dolphins. We will visit a lizard farm and learn about the piaches, which can grow up to 10 ft long.

Around 1:30 pm, we will arrive at our two-story lodge made from jungle materials. After resting, we will enjoy a complete menu. At 3 pm, we visit the native Yagua people to learn about their agricultural, fishing, and hunting practices. Our guide will answer all your questions.

We return to the cabin complex at 5 pm for a break and dinner, followed by a night walk to experience the sounds of birds and insects. We will spend the night in the Amazon jungle.

Day 2

We will leave the lodge early for the sunrise in the Amazon (around 5 am), witnessing the colorful rays. In the morning, we will observe exotic birds, including the scarlet macaw.

After a delicious breakfast, we will visit a serpentarium, a sanctuary for snakes, sloths, and parrots, and taste drinks made with medicinal plants. We return to the lodge at 12:30 pm before lunch. At 2:30 pm, we will board a boat back to Iquitos, arriving around 4:30 pm.
