December to May

Day 1: Iquitos - Amazon River

Pick up from Iquitos Airport or your hotel to the Hilton Iquitos for lunch, then depart from the main port of Iquitos.

Day 2: Amazon River - Puerto Prado - Nauta Caño

Boat trip on the Amazon River followed by breakfast on board. Jungle walk to Puerto Prado community for cultural learning. Dinner with live music and nighttime jungle excursion in Nauta Caño.

Day 3: Japón Lagoon - Pacaya Samiria National Reserve

Boat trip to Japón Lagoon for a picnic breakfast, followed by a jungle walk on hanging bridges and a Peruvian cocktail demonstration.

Day 4: Marañon River - San Regis - Shiriyacu

Visit the Indigenous community of San Regis for a tree-planting ceremony and cultural insights. Lunch followed by a boat trip on Shiriyacu stream for piranha fishing.

Day 5: Nauta - Ucayali River

Visit the city of Nauta via a motorbike-taxi tour. Continue to explore the Ucayali River after lunch.

Day 6: Yanallpa del Ucayali - Dorado River

Boat tour of Yanallpa del Ucayali, observing wildlife. Afternoon trip on Dorado River with a cooking demonstration on board.

Day 7: Yarapa River - Tahuayo River - Huasi Community

Explore Yarapa River and then sail to Tahuayo River for a visit to Huasi community with relaxation time before a sunset farewell dinner.

Day 8: Amazon Rescue Centre - Iquitos

Disembark in Iquitos and visit the Amazon Rescue Centre before transfer to Iquitos Airport or your hotel.

June to November

Itinerary changes for lower water levels:

Days 2, 5, 7 and 8 remain unchanged.Day 1: Depart from Nauta after lunch at the DoubleTree by Hilton Iquitos.Day 3: Boat trip on Yanayacu River in Pucate for fishing, followed by lunch and a talk on Amazonian philosophy.Day 4: Picnic breakfast on Samiria River, kayaking, and afternoon visit to San Regis.Day 6: Morning visit to Yucuruchi area, followed by kayaking and swimming at Bazagán Lake.
