Welcome aboard! The cruise schedule varies based on the season.

December to May

Day 1: Iquitos - Amazon River

Guests will be picked up from Iquitos Airport or their hotel to enjoy a welcome lunch at the Hilton Iquitos, followed by departure from the main port of Iquitos.

Day 2: Amazon River - Puerto Prado - Nauta Caño

The day includes a boat trip on the Amazon River, breakfast, dolphin watching, a jungle walk to Puerto Prado, and a nighttime jungle excursion with live music during dinner.

Day 3: Japón Lagoon - Pacaya Samiria National Reserve

The day starts with a trip to Japón Lagoon, including a picnic breakfast, jungle walk on hanging bridges, and dinner following a cocktail demonstration.

Day 4: Marañon River - San Regis - Shiriyacu

Guests will visit the Indigenous community of San Regis for a tree-planting ceremony and lunch, followed by fishing in the Shiriyacu stream.

Day 5: Nauta - Ucayali River

After breakfast, a motorbike-taxi tour of Nauta is included, followed by exploration of the Ucayali River.

Day 6: Yanallpa del Ucayali - Dorado River

Activities include a boat tour of Yanallpa del Ucayali and fishing on the Dorado River, as well as a cooking demonstration aboard the cruise ship.

Day 7: Yarapa River - Tahuayo River - Huasi Community

After breakfast, visit the Yarapa River for dolphin sightings, followed by a community visit and a farewell dinner at sunset.

Day 8: Amazon Rescue Centre - Iquitos

The final day includes disembarkation in Iquitos and a visit to the Amazon Rescue Centre before returning to the airport or hotel.

June to November

For guests joining from June to November, the itinerary will differ due to lower water levels:

Days 2, 5, 7 and 8 remain unchanged.Day 1: Departure is from Nauta after a lunch at the DoubleTree by Hilton Iquitos.Day 3: The morning includes fishing on the Yanayacu River and a talk on Amazonian philosophy.Day 4: Activities include kayaking on the Samiria River and a visit to the community of San Regis.Day 6: Morning visit to the Yucuruchi area and swimming at Bazagán Lake.

Accommodation

This tour includes 7 nights on a luxury cruise ship with full board in selected suites. The Zafiro cruise ship features two decks with comfortable suites offering amenities such as private bathrooms, air conditioning, and panoramic windows.
