December to May

Day 1: Iquitos - Amazon River

Your adventure begins with a pick-up from either Iquitos Airport or your accommodation, followed by a welcoming lunch at the Hilton Iquitos. Afterward, we will head to the main port of Iquitos and embark on our cruise through the Amazon, Marañon, and Ucayali Rivers.

Day 2: Amazon River - Puerto Prado - Nauta Caño

We kick off the day with an enchanting boat ride across the Amazon River. After breakfast on board, watch playful pink dolphins in their natural habitat.

Post-lunch, we will trek through the jungle, marveling at the diverse flora surrounding us en route to the Puerto Prado community. Here, you will gain insights into the local customs and livelihoods before returning to the cruise for a dinner complemented by live music, followed by an evening jungle expedition in Nauta Caño.

Day 3: Japón Lagoon - Pacaya Samiria National Reserve

The third day dawns with a boat excursion on the Japón Lagoon where you can enjoy a delightful picnic breakfast amidst the natural wonders of the Pacaya Samiria National Reserve.

In the afternoon, experience a guided walk across the hanging bridges of Pacaya Samiria. On our return, a cocktail demonstration showcasing Peruvian beverages awaits before dinner.

Day 4: Marañon River - San Regis - Shiriyacu

As we reach the Marañon River, an essential tributary of the Amazon, an Indigenous community known as San Regis will welcome us. Their shaman will lead us in a significant tree-planting ceremony, sharing the community's ancestral traditions and healing practices. We will also have the opportunity to admire handcrafted items made by local artisans.

After lunch, a boat journey on the Shiriyacu stream will provide a chance to try piranha fishing.

Day 5: Nauta - Ucayali River

Awake early for a visit to Nauta, a pivotal city in the region. There, we'll experience a motorbike-taxi tour and explore its vibrant market.

After our return to the vessel, our expedition continues to the Ucayali River, where a scenic boat ride awaits post-lunch.

Day 6: Yanallpa del Ucayali - Dorado River

We will begin the day with a tour of the Yanallpa del Ucayali natural zone, encountering various native wildlife. In the afternoon, we'll venture into the Dorado River for fishing activities.

Upon returning to our vessel, a chef will host a Peruvian culinary demonstration. Dinner will follow, along with an opportunity for night wildlife observation.

Day 7: Yarapa River - Tahuayo River - Huasi Community

After breakfast, we'll navigate the Yarapa River, where you may spot both pink and grey dolphins.

In the afternoon, we proceed down the Tahuayo River to visit the Huasi community. This visit allows time for relaxation and swimming before returning to the boat, where you can witness a breathtaking sunset during our farewell dinner.

Day 8: Amazon Rescue Centre - Iquitos

On our final day, we will disembark in Iquitos and visit the Amazon Rescue Centre, dedicated to rehabilitating animals rescued from illegal trafficking, including manatees.

We will then transport you back to Iquitos Airport or your selected hotel.

June to November

For guests traveling from June to November, expect a slightly modified itinerary due to lower river and lagoon water levels.

Days 2, 5, 7, and 8 will remain unchanged as described above.Day 1: We will depart from Nauta instead of Iquitos' main port, following lunch at the DoubleTree by Hilton Iquitos.Day 3: Start with breakfast before embarking on a boat trip down the Yanayacu River in Pucate for fishing. Lunch will be on board, followed by a talk on Amazonian philosophy.Day 4: Enjoy a picnic breakfast along the Samiria River, followed by kayaking. Afterward, lunch will be served on board, and the visit to San Regis will take place in the afternoon along with the cocktail demonstration.Day 6: The morning will include a visit to the Yucuruchi area along the Ucayali River, while the afternoon will involve activities at Bazagán Lake with opportunities for kayaking and swimming.
