Amazon, Nanay & Momon Rivers Excursion

After picking you up at 9 am at your hotel in Iquitos, we'll head to the Amazon jungle, where a boat will be waiting for us. As we navigate through this area, we'll observe the vibrant flora of the rainforest and its tall trees.

During the journey, we'll visit an animal sanctuary that houses macaws, toucans, monkeys, snakes, and other reptiles, including the anaconda.

Next, we will cruise the Nanay River, extending 315 kilometers (196 miles), which hosts the towns of Santo Tomás, Padre Cocha, and Santa Clara. The crossing will continue to the Momon River.

We will stop at an Amazonian camp for a buffet lunch. Afterwards, a short walk through the jungle will lead us to a community of Boras Indigenous Peoples, where we will learn about their customs and traditions, with opportunities to participate in traditional dances.

Finally, we will sail back to the departure dock and return to your hotel in Iquitos, expected at 5 pm.
