Amazon Rainforest 5 Day Tour
Day 1
The tour begins with a pickup from your hotel in Iquitos, followed by a boat journey to the Amazon jungle. Expect wildlife sightings, followed by a buffet lunch. In the afternoon, visit the village of Timicurillo to learn about local living and traditional medicine. An evening jungle night walk is also available.
Day 2
The day starts with a visit to Neyser Island to explore a reptile sanctuary, where you may see anacondas, monkeys, and sloths. Then, we will visit the rescue center "El Encanto de Rony" to encounter various wildlife. After lunch, enjoy fishing in the Amazon River and observing a sunset.
Day 3
On day three, sail on the Yanayacu River to San Juan de Huashalado. Opportunities to swim with pink Amazon river dolphins may arise. Lunch will be hosted by a local farmer, followed by a sunset before returning to camp for dinner.
Day 4
For early risers, an optional sunrise walk at 4 am is available. After breakfast, enjoy a boat ride to Sinchicuy and visit the Yagua tribe and Morphohuasi butterfly farm. An evening walk is offered for those who missed the sunrise.
Day 5
The final day includes a visit to Monkey Island and a fruit and medicine plantation. A last lunch at the lodge precedes our return to Iquitos, arriving around 4 pm.
