Amazon River Trip
After picking you up at your hotel in Iquitos, we will head into the jungle where a boat will be waiting to take us down the Amazon River. Onboard, we will set sail with a guide specialized in this area.
Along the way, we will observe the dense jungle that occupies most of the Peruvian territory and the impressive floating victorias regas, the largest leaves in the world.
Wildlife sightings will include the lion marmoset monkey, sloth, poison dart frog, and black alligator. A visit to a genuine serpentarium, which houses snakes such as the anaconda, will also be included, showcasing many other species in their natural habitat.
Before leaving the snake sanctuary, we'll taste liquors prepared from extracted tree bark and enjoy a meal in a local restaurant.
We will then visit the Yahuas Indians to learn about their culture, beliefs, dances, and rituals, providing insight into their way of life.
Before returning to your hotel in Iquitos, we will observe the pink dolphins that inhabit the Amazon River.
