Join us on this boat trip down the longest and most voluminous river in the world. During this journey along the Amazon, you will encounter various animals and uncover mysteries.
Amazon River Trip
After picking you up at your hotel in Iquitos, we will head into the jungle where a boat will be waiting to take us down the famous Amazon River. A specialized guide will accompany us on this voyage.
Along the way, we will see the dense jungle that occupies most of the Peruvian territory. This includes the impressive floating victorias regas, the largest leaves in the world.
We will observe animal species like the lion marmoset monkey, the sloth, the poison dart frog, and the black alligator. Additionally, we will visit a serpentarium, which features snakes such as the anaconda. Other jungle species live here in their natural habitat.
Before leaving the snake sanctuary, we'll taste some liquors prepared from extracted tree bark and enjoy a meal in a local restaurant.
We will then visit the Yahuas Indians, who will share their culture and beliefs through dances and rituals. This provides insight into the lives of people largely isolated from the outside world.
Before returning to your hotel in Iquitos, we will have the chance to observe the pink dolphins that inhabit the Amazon river.
