Amazon & Ucayali 7-Day Cruise

This itinerary applies from December to May.

Day 1: Iquitos - Nauta

We will pick you up from Iquitos airport for lunch at the DoubleTree by Hilton and a briefing on the cruise itinerary. Afterwards, we will head to the port of Nauta to board the ship and enjoy an evening boat excursion.

Day 2: Yanayacu de Yacapana - Vista Alegre - Ucayali River

Before breakfast, we will take a boat ride in the Yanayacu de Yacapana reserve for wildlife spotting including pink dolphins. Following breakfast, we will visit the Vista Alegre butterfly farm and enjoy a piranha fishing adventure in the Ucayali River.

Day 3: Arroyo Marayali - Pahuachiro

A morning boat trip will take us along the Arroyo Marayali stream followed by a stroll through Pahuachiro. We will return to the boat for dinner.

Day 4: Nauta

After breakfast, we will travel to Nauta by motorbike taxi to explore the local market. We will return to the boat for dinner and an evening ride.

Day 5: Marañon River - San Regis

We will rise early to see pink dolphins and enjoy breakfast before swimming in the Marañon River. A visit to the San Regis community includes a tree-planting ceremony.

Day 6: Arroyo Shiriyacu - San José de Zarapanga - Kukama - Puerto Prado

A morning excursion to Arroyo Shiriyacu will focus on piranha fishing. We will have lunch in San José de Zarapanga and learn about the Kukama community in the afternoon.

Day 7: Nauta - Amazon Rescue Centre - Iquitos

On our last day, we will have breakfast in Nauta and visit the Amazon Rescue Centre before returning to Iquitos airport or your hotel.

June to November

During these months, the itinerary is slightly modified:

Days 1, 4, 5, 6, and 7 remain the same.Day 2: A boat trip on the Amazon River is included before breakfast, followed by a jungle walk in Ucayali.Day 3: Visit the Vista Alegre community and engage in piranha fishing.

Accommodation

The tour includes 6 nights' accommodation on a cruiser with full board in your selected cabin category. The La Perla cruise ship features two decks and an observation area.
