Description

At the indicated time, we will pick you up from your hotel on Easter Island for an adventure along the coastline of Hanga Roa.

At Hanga Piko, the fishing port of the island's capital, we will meet with a Rapa Nui native and expert fisherman who will guide us. We will board a boat and venture into the Pacific, sailing along the coastline.

While enjoying the views of the island from the water, we will learn about the traditional fishing techniques of the Rapa Nui. We will see how the handmade hook and harpoon are used and learn about the locals' ability to hold their breath for two minutes to catch fish.

After the fishing demonstration, we will explore the coast of Hanga Roa, including its cliffs and caves. On board, we will learn about the history and culture of Rapa Nui. You can also take a refreshing dip and go snorkelling if desired.

We will gradually return to Hanga Piko, ending this fishing experience after 3-4 hours of activity. We will take you back to your accommodation.
