Description

At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel on Easter Island for an adventure along the coastline of Hanga Roa. At Hanga Piko, the fishing port, we'll meet with a Rapa Nui native and expert fisherman who will be our guide. We'll board a boat and venture into the Pacific, sailing along the coast of Hanga Roa.

During the trip, we'll gain insight into the traditional fishing techniques of the Rapa Nui. We'll see how the handmade hook and harpoon are used, and learn how locals can hold their breath for two minutes to catch fish.

After the fishing demonstration, we'll explore the coast and its natural treasures, including cliffs and caves. On board, we'll learn about the history and culture of Rapa Nui. If desired, you can take a refreshing dip and go snorkelling.

We'll gradually return to Hanga Piko, concluding this unforgettable fishing experience after 3-4 hours of activity. We will then take you back to your accommodation.
