Constructed in 1960, the capital of Pakistan houses notable architectural treasures. Discover them on our guided tour of Islamabad in English.

Islamabad Private Tour

We will begin our English language tour of Islamabad with a pickup from your hotel, starting at the iconic Faisal Mosque, one of the largest Islamic temples in the world. During the visit, we will learn about the origins of its construction, which dates back to the 1960s.

Adjacent to the mosque, at the foot of the Margalla hills, we will see the mausoleum of General Muhammad Zia-ul-Haq. To appreciate the architecture and the hills, we will visit the Daman e Kok viewpoint, providing views of the city's grid structure, Lake Rawal, and the skyscrapers of the Blue Area, Islamabad's financial and commercial sector.

Our tour continues to Pir Sohawa, located 5000 feet above sea level, which offers several viewpoints for a different perspective of Islamabad and its surroundings. This location helps to understand the history of modern Pakistan and the decision to create a new megalopolis in the north in the mid-20th century.

We will pause for lunch at the Monal Restaurant, opened in 2006, situated on a mountain ledge with extraordinary views of the landscapes. Dining here provides an opportunity to enjoy local cuisine amidst stunning scenery.

After lunch, we will return you to your hotel in Islamabad.
