Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, and Suleymaniye Mosque.

Istanbul Mosque Tour

We'll meet at the German Fountain in Sultanahmet at the scheduled time to begin our tour of the mosques of Istanbul. The first stop is Hagia Sophia, constructed in the 6th century AD by Byzantine Emperor Justinian I. This structure served as an Orthodox Christian cathedral and has been a Catholic church and mosque, as well as a museum. You'll have an audio guide for a self-guided tour inside.

Next, we visit the Blue Mosque, also known as the Sultan Ahmed Mosque, recognized for its tiles that feature geometric patterns.

Finally, we will see the Suleymaniye Mosque, which has held the title of the largest mosque in Istanbul for over 450 years. It was constructed by the famous architect Mimar Sinan during the reigns of Suleiman the Magnificent, Selim II, and Murad III.

After a 4-hour tour of Istanbul's mosques, we'll conclude at the meeting point.
