Hiking Excursion in Dragonja Valley

Your adventure begins with a convenient pick-up from your hotel in Izola at 9 am, followed by a minibus ride to the Dragonja Valley.

Upon reaching our destination, we will embark on an invigorating hiking journey that transports us away from the urban chaos, allowing us to connect deeply with the Slovenian wilderness. We will stroll along the picturesque banks of the Dragonja River, soaking in the captivating scenery and gaining insights into its various tributaries.

As we progress through the Dragonja Valley, our trek will lead us to the renowned salt lakes of Se?ovlje, a highlight of the region. We will also encounter beautiful waterfalls and the historic mills of Mazurin and Kodarin. Throughout our hike, there will be opportunities to pause, capture photographs, and appreciate the breathtaking views of the Dragonja Valley, the Julian Alps, Trieste, and Koper!

If you find yourself feeling peckish, we will make a stop in a quaint village within the valley where you can indulge in a delightful lunch featuring traditional Slovenian culinary delights. After this satisfying meal, we’ll return to the minibus for our journey back to Izola.

We anticipate arriving back at your hotel around 2 pm.
