Food Tour of Istria

After picking you up from your hotel in Izola at 9 am, we'll start our food tour of Istria, ideal for those wanting to taste Croatian cuisines.

We will cross the border from Slovenia into Croatia and head to our first stop, the tiny town of Hum. As we stroll through its streets, we will explore the charm of this village and learn about biska, a local brandy made with spices.

Next, we will return to the minibus and continue to the village of Motovun. Here, we will explore the old town, visiting the Church of St. Stephen and learning about the white truffles grown in the forests of Motovun. We will discover how to prepare a dish using this product and later taste it in a local restaurant.

Finally, we will head to Grožnjan, where we will learn about the traditions of olive and wine production while strolling through the village.

Our food tour of Istria will conclude back at your hotel in Izola at 5 pm.
