Food Tour of Istria

After picking you up from your hotel in Izola at 9 am, we'll start our food tour of Istria, designed for food enthusiasts wanting to experience Croatian cuisine.

We'll cross the border from Slovenia into Croatia for our first stop in the town of Hum. As we explore its streets, we will learn about biska, a traditional local brandy made with spices.

Next, we will head to the village of Motovun. Here, we will visit the old town, including the Church of St. Stephen, and learn about the white truffles that grow in the forests of Motovun. We will also receive a cooking demonstration on how to prepare a dish featuring this ingredient before tasting it in a local restaurant.

Finally, we will visit Grožnjan, a village known for its olive and wine production, where we will explore its streets and local traditions.

Our food tour of Istria will conclude back at your hotel in Izola at 5 pm.
