Food Tour of Istria
After picking you up from your hotel in Izola at 9 am, we'll start our food tour of Istria, ideal for those wanting to taste Croatian cuisine.
We'll cross the border from Slovenia into Croatia and head to the first stop: the tiny town of Hum. As we stroll through its streets, we'll learn about biska, a local brandy made with spices.
Next, we will head to the village of Motovun. We'll explore the old town, visiting the Church of St. Stephen and learning about the white truffles grown in its forests. We will also discover how to prepare a dish with this product and later taste it in a local restaurant.
Our last stop is Grožnjan, where we will explore the tradition of olive and wine production.
Our food tour of Istria will conclude back at your hotel in Izola at 5 pm.
