Food Tour of Istria

After picking you up from your hotel in Izola at 9 am, we'll start our food tour of Istria, ideal for foodies wanting to taste Croatian cuisine.

We'll cross the border from Slovenia into Croatia and head to the first stop: the tiny town of Hum. As we stroll through its streets, we'll discover the charm of this Croatian village and learn about biska, a typical local brandy made with spices.

Next, we’ll return to the minibus and visit the charming village of Motovun. We'll explore its old town, visit the Church of St. Stephen, and hear about the white truffles grown in the forests of Motovun. We will learn how to prepare a dish with this prized ingredient before tasting it at a local restaurant.

After leaving Motovun, we will head to the last stop of the day, Grožnjan. Here, we will discover a great tradition of olive and wine production while strolling through the streets.

Our food tour of Istria will conclude back at your hotel in Izola at 5 pm.
