Lipica Horse Farm & Škocjan Caves Tour

We'll pick you up from your hotel in Koper at 9 am on the morning of the tour. From there we'll hit the road for Lipica, the origin of the Lipizzaner white horse, to discover one of the most important emblems of Slovenia. The fame of these horses is significant, as they appear on the country's 20 cent coins.

Entering one of the oldest stud farms, you'll learn about the origin of these horses and the daily care they receive. The karst landscape of Lipica adds to the region's uniqueness.

During the guided tour of the farm, you can interact with the horses and explore the Lipikum Museum. If interested, you can watch a Lipizzaner horse show and observe the horses in action.

Next, we'll head to the Škocjan Caves, a World Heritage Site known for being one of the most significant subterranean phenomena globally.

Upon entering the caves, you will see remarkable karst formations along the Reka River. Notable features include the organ, the Big Collapse Doline, and the Murmuring Cave. The caves are home to one of the largest underground canyons in the world, providing a unique experience.

At the end of the excursion, we will return to Koper, arriving at 2 pm.
