Lipica Horse Farm & Škocjan Caves Tour

We'll pick you up from your hotel in Koper at 9 am on the morning of the tour. From there we'll head to Lipica, the origin of the Lipizzaner white horse. Here, you will learn about the origin of these horses and their daily care at one of the oldest stud farms in the region. The karst landscape of Lipica adds to the uniqueness of this area.

During the guided tour of the farm, you can get close to the horses and explore the Lipikum Museum. Optionally, you may watch a Lipizzaner horse show.

Next, we'll proceed to the Škocjan Caves, a World Heritage Site known for its significant subterranean phenomena. Upon entering the caves, you will see karst formations along the Reka River, including notable figures like the organ and the Big Collapse Doline. The Škocjan Caves contain one of the largest underground canyons, providing a unique experience.

At the end of the excursion, we will return to Koper, arriving at 2 pm.
