Lipica Horse Farm & Škocjan Caves Tour

We'll pick you up from your hotel in Koper at 9 am. From there, we will travel to Lipica, the origin of the Lipizzaner white horse, to learn about its significance in Slovenia, where it even appears on the country's 20 cent coins.

At one of the oldest stud farms, you'll learn about the origins of these horses and the daily care they receive. The karst landscape of Lipica adds to the region's uniqueness.

During the guided tour of the farm, you can observe the horses and visit the Lipikum Museum. If you choose, you can also watch a Lipizzaner horse show.

Next, we will head to the Škocjan Caves, a World Heritage Site known for its significant subterranean features.

Upon entering the caves, you will see the karst formations along the Reka River, including the organ, the Big Collapse Doline, and the Murmuring Cave. The Škocjan caves are home to one of the largest underground canyons, offering a unique experience.

At the end of the excursion, we will return to Koper, arriving at 2 pm.
