Postojna Cave + Predjama Castle Tour

Pickup will be from your hotel in Izola at 9 am. We will drive Northeast across the Slovenian border to reach the Postojna Cave, recognized for its beauty.

After approximately one hour, we will reach Postojna and enter the karst cave. We will observe various rock formations, including stalagmites that are 5 meters long.

To enhance the experience, we will explore the cave on a small train that accesses areas not reachable on foot, featuring Murano glass chandeliers and a ballroom. Additionally, we will highlight the olms, known as the 'dragon's offspring'.

Next, we will visit Predjama Castle, a medieval fortress located on a cliff. Here, we will explore the castle rich in legends, including the story of Erasmus of Predjama, referred to as the Slovenian Robin Hood.

After touring the castle, we will return to Izola and drop you off at your hotel around 2 pm, concluding the tour.
