Postojna Cave + Predjama Castle Tour

We'll pick you up from your hotel in Izola at 9 am and drive Northeast across the Slovenian border to reach the Postojna Cave. After approximately an hour, we'll arrive at Postojna and enter this karst cave, where you will see various rock formations, including stalagmites that are 5 meters long.

To enhance this visit, we'll explore the cave on a train that takes us to areas not accessible on foot, where we will see Murano glass chandeliers and a ballroom. Another highlight of this visit includes spotting the olms, also known as the 'dragon's offspring'.

Our next stop will be Predjama Castle, a medieval fortress perched on a cliff. We will explore this castle rich with legends, including the story of Erasmus of Predjama, referred to as the Slovenian Robin Hood.

After visiting the castle, we'll return to Izola and drop you off at your hotel around 2 pm, concluding the tour.
