Socerb, Hrastovlje & Marezige Tour
Pickup is at 9 am from your hotel in Izola, followed by a 20-minute drive to Socerb, a historic village. We will explore its castle, a medieval fortress located at the highest point, offering views of the Gulf of Trieste. We will also visit the Holy Cave, an underground sanctuary related to Saint Servulus.
Next, we will head to Hrastovlje for a visit to the Church of the Holy Trinity, a 13th-century structure known for its surrounding wall and the famous fresco of the Danse Macabre.
Our final stop will be in Marezige, an area renowned for its wine and olive production. We will visit a local farm for a tasting of olive oil paired with typical snacks.
We will then return to Izola, with an estimated arrival at your hotel around 5 pm.
