This excursion to Atlixco and Chipilo invites you to get to know one of Mexico's Pueblos Mágicos and taste its typical delicacies, including bread, ice cream, and cheese.

Atlixco & Chipilo Tour

At the appointed time, we will pick you up at your hotel in Puebla to visit two significant locations in this Mexican state.

Our first stop will be Atlixco, a renowned Pueblo Mágico. We will visit the city’s Zócalo, the main square featuring a colorful sign of the city’s name, followed by a stroll through the historic center where we will see the Church of Santa María de la Natividad and the Municipal Palace with its impressive murals.

Next, we will head to La Pasadita to enjoy typical flavors of Atlixco, including artisan bread, chocolate, and ice cream (locally known as nieve). We will then visit the old Franciscan convent for panoramic views of Atlixco and Puebla, concluding this part of the tour at a nursery showcasing various flowers and fruit trees.

Afterward, we will proceed to Chipilo to visit a cheese factory where you will have a tasting of Chipilo cheese paired with wine. Finally, we will return to Puebla, dropping you off at your hotel 5-6 hours after pickup.
