This excursion to Atlixco and Chipilo invites you to get to know one of Mexico's Pueblos Mágicos and taste its typical delicacies, including bread, ice cream, and cheese.

Atlixco & Chipilo Tour

At the appointed time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Puebla to visit two significant locations in this Mexican state.

Our first stop will be in Atlixco, a renowned Pueblo Mágico. We will visit the city's Zócalo, featuring a colorful city sign, followed by a stroll through the historic center. We'll see the Church of Santa María de la Natividad and the Municipal Palace, noted for its impressive murals.

Next, we'll visit La Pasadita to sample typical flavors of Atlixco, including artisan bread, chocolate, beer, mezcal, and ice cream, referred to locally as nieve.

We will then proceed to the old Franciscan convent for views of Atlixco and Puebla, concluding our visit at a nursery showcasing various flowers and fruit trees.

Finally, we'll head to Chipilo, where we will tour a cheese factory and enjoy a tasting of Chipilo cheese paired with wine. We will return to Puebla and drop you off at your hotel 5-6 hours after pickup.
