Izta-Popo Zoquiapan National Park Hike

After picking you up from your hotel in Puebla, we'll travel to the Izta-Popo Zoquiapan National Park. The journey includes passing through the Paso de Cortés until we reach the La Joyita parking lot, where our hiking route begins.

We'll traverse the Ruta de los Portillos, a 4-kilometer trail that features a variety of landscapes. Along the way, you'll enjoy views of the park's two volcanoes, Iztaccihuatl and Popocatepetl, and learn about their indigenous legends.

During the hike, we will stop for a quesadilla and a hot drink. We may encounter local wildlife, including coyotes, badgers, lizards, and deer, as well as various fungi species in the coniferous forests. This experience aims to be unique.

After 4 hours of hiking, we will return to the main parking lot and head back to your hotel in Puebla, arriving around 5 pm.
