La Malinche National Park Trek

We will pick you up from your hotel in Puebla and travel to the state of Tlaxcala toward La Malinche National Park. In 1.5 hours, we’ll arrive at a hostel on the slopes of the volcano to begin a 10-hour hiking route.

At the park, we will head to a hostel located 3100 metres above sea level to start the hike. The trek will take us through forests of oyamel, conifers, and pine trees, climbing slopes of up to 45 degrees.

We will make a stop at Los Arenales to rest and enjoy the views, providing a closer look at the summit of the La Malinche volcano.

The final stretch will lead us up to 4461 metres. If the weather permits, we can see the chain of volcanoes: Citlaltépetl, Popocatépetl, and Iztaccíhuatl.

Finally, we will return to the hostel, travel back to Puebla, and conclude the tour at your hotel after a total of 13 hours.
