La Malinche National Park Trek
At 6 am, we will pick you up from your hotel in Puebla and head to the state of Tlaxcala for a 10-hour hiking route in La Malinche National Park.
Upon arrival at the park, we will head to a hostel located 3100 metres above sea level, where the hike will commence. The trek will lead us through forests of oyamel, conifers, and pine trees, climbing slopes of up to 45 degrees.
We will stop at an area called Los Arenales for rest and to enjoy the views. From there, we will have a closer look at the summit of La Malinche volcano.
In the final stretch, we will ascend to 4461 metres, with potential views of the volcano chain: Citlaltépetl, Popocatépetl, and Iztaccíhuatl, if weather permits.
Finally, we will return to the hostel to board the vehicles for our return to Puebla, arriving at your hotel by 7 pm.
