Be seduced by an Italian village, lavender fields reminiscent of Provence and an English castle without leaving Mexico on this excursion to Chautla Hacienda, Rancho San Martin and Val'Quirico.
Lavender Field, Chautla Hacienda & Val'Quirico Excursion
After picking you up at your hotel in Puebla at the indicated time, we will head to the Ex-Hacienda de Chautla. This site was owned by the Marquis of Selva Nevada and was known for wheat and corn production. You will explore the property, including its gardens, lake, locally-made ceramic pieces, and the facilities of its English castle.
Next, we will visit Rancho San Martin, a destination for lavender enthusiasts. You will attend a workshop to discover the various uses and properties of lavender, including making your own lavender soap. You will also have time to take photos in the ranch's violet-colored fields and sample lavender-infused coffee and panque, a typical cake.
Later, we will arrive at Val'Quirico, a recreation of a Tuscan town. You will have an hour of free time for lunch and to explore its narrow streets. The cobblestone, adobe, wood, and brick structures will provide a medieval Italian village atmosphere.
Finally, we will return to your hotel in Puebla 7 hours and 15 minutes after the initial pickup.
