On this boat trip around Damas Island, we'll sail through its mangroves and enjoy the fauna and flora of one of the most important ecosystems of Costa Rica.

Isla Damas Boat Trip

At the appointed time, we will pick you up at your hotel and head to the dock to start a boat ride around Isla Damas. On board, we'll navigate through the mangrove ecosystem of Damas Island, home to various species of reptiles, anteaters, and white-faced monkeys. We will share information about the area's biodiversity as we observe it.

During the exploration of Damas Island, we will pay special attention to bird species such as herons, kingfishers, ospreys, and frigate birds. We will also cross through natural tunnels formed by tree roots.

After the boat ride, we will return to the mainland for a typical Costa Rican lunch. The tour will conclude with the return to your hotel after six hours of sightseeing.
