Jaen Cathedral Guided Tour
From the Plaza Santa María, in the heart of Jaén, we'll begin a complete tour of the Cathedral of the Assumption of the Virgin. We'll meet at its main entrance, noted for its beauty as part of this Renaissance temple.
Inside, we'll explore areas designed by Andrés de Vandelvira, including the Sacristy, the Chapterhouse and the Canon's Pantheon, as well as the Choir, known for its considerable size.
We will ascend to the high galleries for views of Jaén, ideal for photography.
During our exploration of its corridors, we'll uncover intriguing stories connected to the cathedral, including the legend of the Veil of Veronica. The visit will conclude at the cathedral's entrance.
Important Information
Guided tours are free for children under 12, but they must pay 1.5 euros for entry to the Cathedral.Wearing comfortable footwear and bringing water is recommended, particularly during summer (June-August).
