Description
After an early pickup from your hotel in Jaipur, you’ll head towards Agra by air-conditioned vehicle. Along the four-hour journey, there will be a comfort break.
Arriving in Agra around 10:30 am, you’ll visit the Taj Mahal, commissioned in 1632 by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan to house the tomb of his favorite wife, completed in 1651 with the help of 20,000 workers and 1000 elephants. You will learn about its history as you explore the site.
After the Taj Mahal, you’ll enjoy lunch at a local restaurant (not included).
Next, visit Agra Fort, built under emperor Akbar in 1565, a significant fortress providing stunning views of the Taj Mahal.
Finally, around 5 pm, you’ll return to Jaipur, arriving around 9 pm.
