Agra Private Day Trip

No trip to India is complete without a visit to the magical Taj Mahal in Agra. Fall in love with one of the Seven Wonders of the World on this full-day trip from Jaipur.

Description

After an early pickup from your hotel in Jaipur, you’ll travel to the east by air-conditioned vehicle. Along the four-hour journey, there will be a comfort break.

Upon arrival in Agra around 10:30 am, you will visit the Taj Mahal, commissioned in 1632 by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan for his wife. Completed in 1651, it involved 20,000 workers and 1000 elephants. You will learn about its history as you explore the site.

Afterwards, you will head to a local restaurant for lunch (not included) before visiting Agra Fort, built under emperor Akbar in 1565. It is regarded as one of the largest fortresses in India and offers incredible views of the Taj Mahal.

Finally, around 5 pm, you’ll depart for Jaipur, arriving around 9 pm.
