Activity Details

At the indicated time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Jaipur and head to a traditional printmaking studio. Bring a garment to print, or we’ll provide fabric—either way, get ready to bring your imagination to life!

In the workshop, you'll receive all necessary materials: fabrics, dyes, tools, and stencils. During the class, we'll learn the basics of traditional Indian printmaking, a technique that dates back several centuries, using natural dyes extracted from plants and minerals.

We will practice various stamping techniques, including block stamping with carved wooden blocks and silkscreen printing for creating intricate patterns. You can also experiment with stencils for customized designs and create your own designs using drawing, painting, and digital design techniques.

After 2 creative hours, we’ll take you back to your hotel with a personalized piece and a deeper appreciation for Jaipur’s rich textile heritage.
