Activity Details

At the indicated time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Jaipur and head to a traditional printmaking studio. You can bring a garment to print, or we’ll provide fabric for the workshop.

Upon arrival, you will receive all necessary materials, including fabrics, dyes, tools, and stencils. The workshop will cover the basics of traditional Indian printmaking, utilizing natural dyes extracted from plants and minerals, which are fundamental in this art form.

Participants will learn various stamping techniques, such as block stamping with carved wooden blocks and silkscreen printing for creating intricate patterns. You may also experiment with stencils and design your own creations using drawing, painting, and digital design techniques.

After 2 hours of creative engagement, we’ll return you to your hotel with a personalized piece that reflects Jaipur’s rich textile heritage.
