Tour Details

At the scheduled time, pickup will be from your hotel to start the full tour of Jakarta.

The first stop is the National Museum, where a guided tour through popular exhibitions will take place. This museum, located near Merdeka Square, is one of the oldest in Southeast Asia, known as the 'Elephant Building'.

Next, visit the Great Istiqlal Mosque, the largest in Southeast Asia and the ninth worldwide, situated near the Jakarta Cathedral, showcasing religious harmony.

After these visits, there will be a brief photo stop at the National Museum of Indonesia, followed by a traditional lunch for 30 to 45 minutes.

Continuing, we will stroll to Chinatown (Glodok) to admire its temples and market.

For adventure seekers, a tuk-tuk ride through Old Batavia, a historic center known as the "Jewel of Asia", is next. The area is less than 2 kilometers (1.2 miles) long and was a crucial trading center for Southeast Asia.

In Batavia, visit a traditional puppet studio to learn about shadow puppets, and finish at the old Port of Jakarta, recalling its commercial significance. The tour lasts 5 to 6 hours, ending back at the starting point.

Closing Times

Museums in Jakarta are closed on Mondays. The Great Istiqlal Mosque is closed on Fridays.
