Horse Riding in Jamao al Norte

At 9 am we'll pick you up either from your hotel or from Calle Sánchez. We'll hop on the minibus and drive to a nature spot in the outskirts of the city, from which we'll start our horse riding activity around Jamao al Norte.

First, we'll provide helmets and discuss horse riding basics. We'll then begin trotting next to the Yasica River while observing the native vegetation. After 20 minutes, we'll stop at a clear water pool to taste two local products: cheese and rodao, a type of biscuit.

Next, we'll ride for 2 hours into the Dominican Republic's forests where we may see hummingbirds, woodpeckers, and nightingales. At around 12 noon, we'll make a stop at a riverside community for lunch, which includes rice, beans, chicken, salad, and drinks.

After lunch, riders can continue or have free time for a refreshing dip. We'll then return to the pick-up point in Jamao al Norte at 2 pm.
