Snorkelling in the Prata and Olho d'Água rivers allows participants to experience the diverse aquatic life of the Mato Grosso do Sul region while swimming in clear waters.

Snorkelling in the Prata & Olho d'Água Rivers

Participants will meet at a designated tourist estancia on the BR-267 road next to the Prata river. After fitting wetsuits, the group will proceed into the riverside forest to the source of the Olho d'Água river. Equipped with goggles and snorkels, they will explore the natural pool.

The tour features the river's remarkable transparency, attributed to its limestone content that enhances sunlight reflection. Guides will provide insights on aquatic flora and fauna during the excursion downstream.

The route spans 1.7 kilometres (1 mile), culminating at the conjunction of the Prata and Olho d'Água rivers, where notable changes in water temperature, visibility, and ecosystems can be observed.

Following four hours of activities, guests will return to the starting point.
