Snorkelling in the Prata & Olho d'Água Rivers

At the agreed time, we will meet on the BR-267 road at a tourist estancia next to the Prata River. We will equip ourselves with wetsuits and venture into the riverside forest toward the source of the Olho d'Água River. After putting on our goggles and snorkel, we will dive into the natural pool of this stream.

The river's crystal clear waters allow for excellent visibility, a characteristic of Bonito's rivers due to the high calcium carbonate content. As we swim downstream, we will discuss the aquatic flora and fauna.

The route is 1.7 kilometres (1 mile) long, concluding at the meeting point of the Prata and Olho d'Água rivers, where a noticeable change in water temperature and ecosystem diversity occurs.

After four hours of activity, we will return to the starting point.

Upon booking, we will confirm the starting time for the activity, which will be between 7:30 am and 5:30 pm.
