At the agreed-upon time, we'll meet at Xàbia Posit to begin our journey, encompassing visits to the highlights of Xàbia and its port.
We'll begin by visiting the Xàbia Yacht Club, exploring the history of the Xàbia port and its role in the export of raisins as an economic staple in the 20th century. Local wines and the concept of the “Riu Rau” will also be discussed.
Next, we'll make a brief stop at the Fishermen's Guild to analyze the distinctive fishing techniques in Xàbia, renowned for their unique approach and the intrigue surrounding their nature.
Then, we'll pass by the Our Lady of Loreto Parish to explore the avant-garde architecture of the 20th century, followed by the Joaquín Sorolla Sculpture, examining Sorolla's relationship with Xàbia and his contributions to Impressionism.
Our next destination will be the Casa del Cable, reflecting on its importance in the 19th century, where the first cable connecting the Balearic Islands to the Peninsula was constructed. Then, we'll head over to Triana Bridge, exploring the origin of the neighborhood's name, known as “Aduanas del Mar.”
Finally, we'll go to Platja del Primer Muntanyar, where we'll enjoy one of the best spots for sunsets in Xàbia. We'll discuss iconic places such as Cabo de la Nau, Baños de la Reina, and the First Montañar. After an hour and a half, our tour will conclude.
