Join us for a stroll through the port of Xàbia, unraveling the hidden mysteries of the city. Throughout the route, we will delve into the history and highlight iconic places in the port, from its historical beginnings to the present of the 20th century.

Tour Details

At the agreed-upon time, we'll meet at Xàbia Posit to begin our journey, which will encompass visits to the highlights of Xàbia and its port.

We'll begin by visiting the Xàbia Yacht Club to explore the history of the port and its role in the export of raisins as an economic staple. We'll also discuss local wines and the concept of the “Riu Rau.”

Next, we'll make a brief stop at the Fishermen's Guild to analyze the distinctive fishing method in Xàbia, known for its unique techniques.

Then, we'll pass by the Our Lady of Loreto Parish, immersing ourselves in the architecture of the 20th century, before moving on to the Joaquín Sorolla Sculpture, discussing his relationship with Xàbia and his contribution to Impressionism.

Our next destination will be the Casa del Cable, reflecting on its importance in the 19th century as the site of the first cable connecting the Balearic Islands to the Peninsula. We will then head to Triana Bridge to explore the origin of this neighborhood's name, known as “Aduanas del Mar.”

Finally, we'll visit Platja del Primer Muntanyar, enjoying a sunset view and discussing iconic places such as Cabo de la Nau, Baños de la Reina, and the First Montañar. After an hour and a half, our tour will conclude.
