Etchmiadzin, Khor Virap & Zvartnots Excursion

At the designated time, we will pick you up at your hotel in Yerevan to explore the natural landscapes of Armenia.

Our first stop will be Khor Virap, located about an hour from the capital, where we will visit its famous monastery alongside Mount Ararat.

Next, we will head to Etchmiadzin to admire its significant cathedral, which serves as the seat of the Armenian Apostolic Church and dates back to the 4th century.

Following this, we will explore the Zvartnots Cathedral, a 7th-century circular sanctuary known for its stunning views.

We will then return to your hotel in Yerevan, with the entire excursion lasting approximately 4 to 5 hours.

Optional wine-tasting and cooking class

You can enhance your experience by participating in a wine-tasting and cooking class for an additional fee payable on the day of the excursion.

The wine tasting will take place in the village of Taperakan at a traditional winery, where you will experience their wines. For the cooking class, we will visit a restaurant in Echmiadzin to learn Armenian cooking and sample our creations afterward.

If you choose to join either or both of these activities, the total duration of the tour will extend to approximately six to seven hours.
