On this trip from Zacatecas, we'll explore the historical municipality of Guadalupe, visiting significant sites from Mexico's viceregal era.
Day Trip to Guadalupe
We'll pick you up at 9:45 am at your hotel in Zacatecas, and set off toward Guadalupe, a 20-minute journey.
The day will start with a visit to the Colegio de Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe, established in 1707 by Fray Antonio Margil de Jesus, showcasing a diverse collection of pictorial art from the Mexican viceroyalty.
The tour includes the church and the convent, notable for their Mexican Baroque architecture, followed by an exhibition of antique vehicles.
Next, we will visit the Nápoles Chapel, dating back to the 19th century, adorned with 23-karat gold leaves.
The tour continues at the Bernárdez hacienda, where we will explore the Centro Platero del Estado de Zacatecas to see how silver is worked.
We will return to your hotel in Zacatecas, arriving at 1:45 pm.
