Excursion to Teúl

Your adventure begins at 8 am when we will collect you from your hotel in Zacatecas. We will then embark on a scenic drive south, where a host of surprises await.

Our first destination will be the Tlaltenango Canyon, where you can appreciate the breathtaking views of southern Zacatecas. Continuing southward, we will make brief stops in the lovely towns of Tepetongo and Tlaltenango de Sánchez Román.

As we proceed, we will arrive at El Teúl, a hill located on the outskirts of the town, recognized for being one of the most significant Mesoamerican archaeological sites in the region.

After exploring the remarkable archaeological remnants on this hill, we will enter the town for a guided exploration of Teúl, one of Mexico's distinguished Pueblos Mágicos. During the tour, we will admire key landmarks in the historic center, such as the Parish of San Juan Bautista and the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Guadalupe.

Next, our journey will take us to the House Museum of General Jesús González Ortega. For those interested, we will make a visit to Mezcalería Don Aurelio to sample this renowned spirit. Adjacent to this venue is the Los Jorges restaurant, where you'll have an hour of leisure for lunch.

After enjoying your meal, we will return to your hotel in Zacatecas, arriving around 6 pm.
