The Essence of Jerez
Bodegas Álvaro Domecq, founded in 1850 by Pilar Aranda, the first woman winemaker in the Marco de Jerez, was later acquired by a well-known rejoneador to produce wines while preserving the winery's artisan essence. Since 1998, it has specialized in sherry wines, brandies, and vinegars, expertly blending elegance and tradition. The production involves aging exceptional sherry wines in American oak casks via the solera and criaderas system.
