Jerez de la Frontera Walking Tour
Meet your local English-speaking guide in the heart of Jerez de la Frontera, specifically in Arenal Square. This two-hour route will take you through the vibrant orange trees and fountains of the city center.
Your first stop will be San Miguel Church, notable for having the highest point in the city. You will admire the façade of this 15th-century church before proceeding to Alameda Vieja Park.
The guide will then take you to the outside of the Alcazar of Jerez, a Moorish palace-fortress created by the Almohad Caliphs. After this, you will visit the Cathedral to discuss its history and its combination of Gothic, Baroque and Neoclassical styles.
The tour will also pass by symbolic sites such as the Palace of the Counts of Puerto Hermoso, Cabildo Viejo, and the Church of San Dionisio.
Your tour will conclude after two hours.
