At 11 am, we'll meet at the Cartuja Hierro del Bocado Stud Farm, located 15 kilometres from the centre of Jerez de la Frontera. We'll visit this location to explore the breeding of Carthusian horses and understand the significance of this ancient lineage.

The tour begins with a walk around the facilities of the stud farm, including the stable yard and training areas. We'll discuss the origins of the Carthusian horse, which are tied to the monks from the Carthusian Monastery of Santa María de la Defensión established in the 15th century.

We will learn about the physical characteristics of these Spanish horses, the breeding process, and have the opportunity to meet some of them.

Before concluding, we will attend a horse show featuring interactions between the horses and their trainers, providing an engaging experience. We will finish the tour between 1 pm and 1:30 pm.
