At 11 am, we'll meet at the Cartuja Hierro del Bocado Stud Farm, located 15 kilometres from the centre of Jerez de la Frontera. The tour will explore how Carthusian horses are bred and the significance of this ancient lineage.

The tour begins with a walk around the stud farm facilities, including the stable yard and training areas. During the walk, we will review the origins of the Carthusian horse, which are closely linked to the monks of the Carthusian Monastery of Santa María de la Defensión from the 15th century.

Participants will learn about the physical characteristics of these Spanish horses and how they are bred, followed by the opportunity to meet some of them.

The tour concludes with a horse show, showcasing the horses interacting with their trainers, providing a fitting end to the experience.

We will finish the tour by saying goodbye between 1 pm and 1:30 pm.
