1 or 2-Day Trip to Petra

If you're in Jerusalem and want to visit one of the most famous archaeological digs in the world, don't miss this 1 or 2-day trip to Petra!

1-Day Tour

At the scheduled time, we'll meet outside the David Citadel Hotel in Jerusalem. We will travel by coach between Israel and Jordan, reaching Petra in approximately 5 hours.

A guided tour around Petra will follow, known as the Rose City and considered one of the 7 Wonders of the Modern World. We will walk through the Siq Gorge and view the excavated temples and tombs in the rock cliffs. Key monuments include the Petra Treasure, Royal Tombs, theatre, and Djin Blocks. Afterward, we will enjoy a traditional meal.

After visiting Petra, we will cross the border again to return to Jerusalem, with drop-off at your hotel around midnight.

2-Day Tour

This 2-day tour allows a more relaxed experience. After visiting Petra on the first day, we will head to a local restaurant for dinner and stay overnight at a hotel in Wadi Musa.

The next day, following breakfast, we will return to the archaeological site. You will have the opportunity to explore at your own pace and without a guide. You can visit any remaining monuments and learn about the ancient Nabataean civilisation. Locations include the Petra Monastery, Great Temple, and columned street.

In the evening, we will return by bus to Jerusalem. Please be at the meeting point between midnight and 1 am.

Accommodation

The 2-day tour includes one night of accommodation with breakfast at either the 3-star Venus Hotel Petra or 4-star Sella Hotel Petra. Accommodations are in double rooms in Wadi Musa. If these hotels are fully booked, similar options will be provided according to your preference.
